Snow!

It snowed today, which is the first time Luke has seen the snow. It only snows here every couple of years, and today it was enough to settle and let the kids have some fun. Now the sun is out and it is almost all gone.
As usual Luke headed for the sandpit.

He was pretty keen on throwing snowballs like his big brother. I had the job of making them for him.

Ben is getting to be far too good a shot for me!

Making snow angels

Pink snow angels

Pink poppets aren't too good in the cold.

The grumpy fairy on her way inside :)

Snow in June?! Wow that's crazy although it happens every so often here too. Looks like the kids enjoyed it!

Hilarious to see snow. I love that we can be bloggy friends so far away :-) It's beginning to get hot here this week. The start of summer... maybe we'll make some "sand" angels.

we don't get snow that often either, so it's a real treat :-)
I did notice that most of the supporters at the NZ-Irl rugby match yesterday morning were all wrapped up, I blame the cold for our poor result.......

It looks like a "dusting" of snow, but your kids know how to make the most of it! Though I agree with your pink fairy, I much prefer hot weather!
