5 Takes on Why and When Life is Grand

I have been 'tagged' by Nan P to share 5 ways life is Grand. So here goes:

-My 3 lovely children, who keep me on my toes, and who are in turns gorgeous, funny, clever, and downright naughty.

-My husband, who is short on words but does whatever it takes for his family, including getting a new job so that we could move here and access the best therapy for Luke.

-The Champion Centre and its staff, for doing such a great job working with kids with special needs and taking a huge weight off my mind, and for just loving Luke.

-My friends, particularly Trina, Hem and Anna, who have been amazing and who I know are there whenever I need them. I am lucky to have such amazing women in my life.

-Sandpits!
What's that in the sandpit? A bodyless baby?
Just a baby sampling the sand. Not enough fibre in your diet Luke?!

A Tooth

I think we have a tooth! Not certain because it is just a small white point, similar to a needle, but at 15 months, I think we have a tooth! This is probably because I told the Plunket nurse, who was going on about enroling Luke with the Dental nurse, that I didn't see the point yet because he had no teeth. When will I learn to nod and keep my mouth shut?!

The Budding Gardener

I have been sorting out my vege garden for the winter. This is a new thing for me- I have never grown veges before, and I'm going organic too. The caterpillars are loving it! Ben is big on spraying them with garlic- kills them beautifully!

I looked around the other day, and the Lukester had used his climbing skills to climb into the garden, and was busy playing with the dirt and the watering system and having a grand old time. He is suddenly such a big boy- where did my baby go?

Tonight he was standing up against the dishwasher door pulling utensils out of the rack! I wonder how long my delight at his new accomplishment will last...

More easter photos

Happy Easter!

Guess who likes chocolate this year?!

Yum, yum! I'm not sharing, just in case you were wondering...

The carpet may never be the same again! But I am still pleased with myself!

The partner in crime, who gave me the egg, and assisted me to open it!

Lunch

Call it mother's intuition, but I think Luke had finished his meal...
